Psychotherapy

My therapeutic work is based on cognitive behavioral therapy. Depending on the objectives, I combine this with various therapeutic methods:

  • Schema Therapy

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

  • Mindfulness-based approaches

  • Trauma therapy methods: NET and EMDR

In my work, I follow the current state of scientific psychotherapy research and the principles of the Swiss Federation of Psychologists (FSP).

Psychotherapy for Women and Parents During Pregnancy and After Birth

Pregnancy and childbirth are often experienced as emotionally challenging and intense by many expectant parents. During this transitional period, the development of mental health issues and crises is not uncommon, and psychotherapy can help individuals navigate through this time, while also providing reassurance and relief.

I support people with the following issues:

- Unfulfilled desire for children

- Artificial insemination

- Desire for children in the context of pre-existing mental illness

- Subsequent pregnancies after miscarriage or stillbirth

- Traumatic birth experiences

- Mental health issues during and after pregnancy (peri-/postpartum depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and psychosis)

- Stillbirths and the death of a child

I offer individual and group supervision for department teams and individuals. I am a recognized supervisor at the following institutions:

  • Academy for Behavioral Therapy and Method Integration (AIM)
